You can do so by using the following steps:
  1. Open Messages app.
  2. Tap More at the top right and then select Settings.
  3. Tap Backgrounds and bubbles.
  4. To change the bubble style, select one of the bubble styles listed at the bottom of the screen you want to use. You'll get the preview when you tap each of them so you'll get an idea how it might look like when a bubble is selected.

  1. Open the Messages app.

    • Send the message: you can send the scheduled message right now by long tapping the scheduled message bubble and then select Send now.
    • Edit the message: when there's something wrong in your scheduled message, you can edit it by long tapping the scheduled message bubble and then select Edit message. If you have finished editing the message, tap Send button to set the message to be sent at the specified time.

  1. Open the Messages app.

  3. Tap Notifications. If Notifications is off, slide the ON/OFF switch to the right to turn it on. The switch turns green when it's enabled.
  4. Slide the ON/OFF switch next to Pop-up display to the right to enable it. When the switch turns green , means the pop-up display feature is enabled and your phone will display new text messages as pop-ups on any screen outside the Messages app, except for the lock screen.


How to use the pop-up display feature?
When you're using your phone or opening any app outside the Messages app and a new text message arrives, it will be displayed as a pop-up.


When the preview message feature is also enabled, the pop-up will display the sender and the content of the message as well as provide you with the following options:
  • Close: tap this option to close the pop-up.
  • Reply: tap this option to easily reply the message in the pop-up without opening the message in the Messages app. You can write your message in the provided field and then tap Send button to send your message.
  • View: tap this option to open the message in the Messages app. Alternatively, you can read the whole message by scrolling down or up the message in the pop up.


When the preview message feature is disabled, the pop-up will only inform you that you have a new message and provide you with the following options:
  • Close: tap this option to close the pop-up.
  • View: tap this option to open the message in the Messages app.

When a new text message arrives, your phone will display the sender and a short preview of the received message in your lock screen. If needed, tap the message preview and then perform your unlock method(e.g., fingerprints, PIN, password, etc) to open the message in the stock Messaging app.


2. When the screen is not locked.
When a new text message arrives, your phone will display the sender and a short preview of the received message will be displayed on the status bar. If needed, you can do some further actions, e.g., calling the sender of the message or reply the message by using these steps:
  • Swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel.
  • Tap Call in the message preview to call the sender of the message.
  • Tap Reply in the message preview to open and reply the message in the stock Messaging app.

In Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, you can change the way your phone displays notifications you receive while the screen is locked. Method #3: From the people edge
You can use the following steps to easily send a text message to a contact that you have added to the my people list:
  1. To open the edge screen, drag the edge screen handle towards the centre the screen. If the edge screen displays the apps edge at the first place, you have to swipe across the screen again to access the people edge.
  2. Tap an icon of the required contact you want to send a text message.
  3. Tap to create a new text message.
  4. Write your message in the Enter message field.
  5. Tap Send button to send your text message.
