How to enable S Voice?

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Choose Security and lock screen.
  3. Tap on Lock screen option.
  4. Scroll down until you find "Set wake-up command". Then tap on it.
  5. Here you can set S Voice on seven options available.
  6. For example, we set up S Voice to unlock command. So, tap on Wake-up function 1 and select the function you want, for example to unlock.

  8. You will be asked to repeat the voice command four times to make sure the phone is properly calibrate the words you say.

  7. Pan to Browse Image: Just like Pan to Move, this feature will allow you to pan image displayed on screen. Move your device up or down to pan it horizontally, and move to the right or left to pan it vertically. You can go to Advance settings to adjust the sensitivity of this feature.
  8. Shake to Update: With this feature you can find another Bluetooth device or refreshed web page with just shake this device.
  9. Turn Over to Mute: You can use this feature to mute an incoming call or any sound on your phablet by turn over this device so the screen is facing downwards.
  10. Palm Swipe to Capture: This feature will allow you to take screenshots on any content displayed on its screen by put your palm side on its screen then swipe it from left to right or vice versa.
  11. Palm Touch to Mute: With this feature you can mute or pause any video or any sound currently playing simply by covering the screen with your palm. When you remove your plam from it, the sound or the video will play back.

For the record, you can access the Advanced settings and choose Gyroscope calibration to allow you to calibrate your phablet to be able to use all these motions. In addition, you can also disable Smart Stay if you're not using it to save battery.

S Beam feature works by utilizing a combination of NFC and Wi-Fi Direct that you can use to transfer files between two Galaxy SIII. This combination also allows you to transfer files with larger sizes such as image, video, music etc.. NFC will initiate the transfer, while Wi-Fi direct charge for the actual file transfer, which means by using the S Beam you can get transfer speeds up to 300Mbps.

How to enable S Beam?

Well, first we have to do to be able to customize the home screen on the Galaxy SIII is by first getting to the home screen edit screen. It's easy. You can start it by go to any home screen-> Touch and hold the screen -> Select the Add to home screen -> Touch the Page tab. Now, all of your home screen has been displayed and you can customize to your liking, including delete and add new ones.


How to delete home screen?

5. Overheating

6. Wi-Fi dropping or not detecting

8. Vibrating to the music or audio
Perhaps you are wondering why your phone vibrate when you play music or audio app. Well, if you are bothered by this, then you can handle it very easily, simply by go to Settings-> Sound-> uncheck Auto haptic.


9. Copy and paste is not working
There are some reports suggest that the copy and paste features in this phone does not work. Some do not find the option to paste aftr copied something and some even experiencing crashes when trying to paste the copied text.

This problem has actually been realized by Samsung. But until now there is no fix for this. Temporary solution to this problem is to factory reset the phone or root your phone then clear the data from your clipboard. But this solution is not ideal and does not guarantee that this problem will not come again in the future.


10. Smart stay feature does not work properly
Smart stay is a great features that was pinned by Samsung in Galaxy SIII. With this feature, your phone will be able to keep the screen stays on as long as you see it and it will automatically dim and turn off when you do not see it. When this feature is set on in your phone, then there will be occasionallly eye icon po up on the notification bar and your phone will use the front facing camera to check if you still see the screen. If so, then the screen stays on and vice versa. Screen timeout setting on your phone that will determine how often these checks done. From some reports, user find this feature does not work at all on their phone.

Things you can do to fix this problem is to make sure that your face is bright enough so that the camera can see. This feature is very cool, but still not perfect. Sometimes when you are in the dark or shadow the camera can not see your face and it will make the screen turned off. In addition, you may be able to change your screen timeout to be longer so that the screen is not going off quickly.
